The Hola Barcelona Travel Card gives you unlimited public transport for 48, 72, 96 or 120 consecutive hours, counted from the first time you validate it (not per calendar day). It covers the metro – including line L9 Sud to both airport terminals – TMB buses, the tram, FGC and Rodalies trains within zone 1 and the Montjuïc funicular. It is not valid on the NitBus night buses, the Aerobus or taxis. Children aged 0–3 travel free.

Is it worth it? If you fly in and out of El Prat, a return airport ticket alone costs €11.80; the 48-hour Hola card covers that trip plus unlimited rides in the city. Without the airport metro, a T-casual is usually cheaper unless you make more than three or four journeys a day. In winter – with sunset around 17:30 and Christmas markets spread across the city – most visitors easily reach that number. After booking you receive a voucher code: enter it at a TMB machine (“online collection”), for example at the airport metro station, to print your card.
